Title: Powertrain Engine Calibration Engineer – Intermediate - 197Location: Chelsea, MichiganResponsibilities: The Engine Calibration Engineer for Emissions and Driveability is responsible for developing engine calibrations to meet LEV II and LEV III emission standards at the lowest system cost while delivering world-class driveability. The engineer will collaborate with base engine hardware releasing groups, scientific labs, and vehicle teams. Key duties include developing and implementing best practice design and calibration solutions, performing verification testing in accordance with powertrain system functional objectives. Candidates should have 3-5 years of relevant experience.Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science, or an equivalent degree from an ABET-accredited university.3-5 years of experience in emission systems calibration development.Master of Science in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science is preferred from an ABET-accredited university.Experience with Hardware In the Loop development/verification and database management.Proficiency with Matlab, Simulink, Data Acquisition, and Excel is strongly preferred.Must possess a true engineering degree (no engineering technology degrees).Experience with hands-on engine repair and diagnostics is a plus; please highlight such experience.The engine lines primarily involve gasoline engines; minimal diesel experience needed.Willingness to travel up to 20%, including some international travel to Canada and Italy.Additional Information: If you wish to review our other job opportunities, please visit our careers page: us on LinkedIn to stay updated with industry advancements: Technologies is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
