Power Plant Technician - Consolidated Asset Management Services : Job Details

CAMS Staffing Solutions is seeking a Plant Technician to efficiently operate and maintain facility equipment to ensure optimal production while minimizing costs. The plant is a 79 MW nameplate capacity electric power generation combined cycle facility located near Albany, New York. The facility uses a Westinghouse combustion turbine, Zurn heat recovery steam generator, and a Mitsubishi steam turbine, and has dual-fuel capability using natural gas or fuel oil. Oversees daily operations and maintenance tasks, working closely with plant management to meet operational goals. Develop technical expertise in assigned systems, including: Identifying and managing spare parts inventory. Performing preventive maintenance. Planning and prioritizing maintenance tasks during outages. Supervising external contractors Duties and Responsibilities: Qualify and perform Control Room Operator duties.
