Job Summary:

We are seeking a Power Operations/Scheduling Supervisor to lead our scheduling team in delivering energy efficiently, reliably, and cost-effectively, aligned with market demand and operational priorities.

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure daily balancing on all active Power market areas.
• Manage scheduling activities across relevant market areas and ISOs.
• Supervise and direct a team of junior schedulers, including weekend coverage.
• Maintain licensing status and relationships with system operators.
• Manage physical positions and system bookings timely and accurately.
• Communicate effectively with commercial teams regarding physical positions, curtailments, and maintenance events.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including trading, operations, IT, finance, risk, and legal teams.
• Onboard new activities in relevant systems.
• Lead projects to improve efficiency.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferably in business, finance, or energy.
• 2–3 years of experience in power operations, with exposure to PJM, NYISO, ISO-NE, or ERCOT.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; decision-making under pressure.
• Experience with Energy Trading and Risk Management (ETRM) systems.
• Familiarity with position management tools and scheduling portals.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; VBA, SQL, and Python skills are a plus.
• Experience with technical process setup, such as secure communication channels, is advantageous.
• Ability to work under pressure, stay motivated, and manage multiple deadlines.
