Power Engineer - Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories : Job Details

As a Power Engineer, a typical day might include the following: Develop and maintain a detailed understanding of electric power systems and how to protect, monitor, and control the power system. Assist in developing product specifications, develop and analyze functional tests. Assist with application literature, instruction manuals, and data sheets. Provide power engineering support for customer applications and Field Application Engineers. Assist in innovating power system protection solutions. Author technical papers to present at technical meetings and conferences. Model, teach, and apply SEL Values, Principles of Operations, and World Class Manufacturing Principles.
