Power Electrical/Electronics Engineer, Principal - Curtiss-Wright Corporation : Job Details

Utilize understanding of aerospace electronics design process includingrequirements development and validation, preliminary design, peer reviews,detailed design, test plan generation, integration, and test to develop andsustain/maintain aerospace-grade: - power electronics/converters - custom magnetics (inductors, chokes, transformers) - isolated power supplies - AC-to-DC conversion/rectification - DC-to-AC conversion/inversion. Collaborate with Systems Engineering to develop high-level requirements. Collaborate with motor design team for best motor-to-drive capability. Technically lead and mentor less-experienced engineers. Exercise knowledge in specific analog areas of experience including, but notlimited to, op-amps, comparators, passive and active filters, BJ - Ts/ FE - Ts, andother novel application specific circuits.
