Job Number: 98 Job Category: GovTech Job Title: POWER CONTROLS ENGINEER - NEW JERSEY - URGENT Job Type: Full-time Clearance Level: Secret Work Arrangement: On-site Job Location: Moorestown NJ Salary: 50k - 100k Background * Review of legacy systems and drawings to recommend and develop upgrades that enhance system efficiency and safety, in collaboration with government organizations* Development of new and/or modification of existing control systems and instrumentation systems for U.S. navy ships* Assist in the troubleshooting and repair of existing control systems to include electrical and mechanical interfaces* Interpret system requirements and design control and sensor circuitry for control systems Requirements * Bachelor's level degree in Electrical engineering or Computer science from an accredited college or university* 2 years of professional experience in designing and working with software and/or PLC based control systems and instrumentation systems* 2 years professional experience in reading and modifying electrical schematics and diagrams Preferred * 2 years' experience in the use and application of test equipment and diagnostic tools for troubleshooting of and setup of control systems and PLC based control system hardware and software (Rockwell/Allen Bradley)* Knowledge in Linux systems
