Power Apps/Power BI Developer (IFMC) with Security Clearance - AltView Analytics : Job Details

Location: Redstone Arsenal | Currently on-site with the potential for hybrid work (at the discretion of the customer) AltView Analytics LLC is seeking a Power Apps/Power BI Developer to support the Integrated Fires Mission Command (IFMC) office within PEO Missiles & Space. This role focuses on designing and developing Power Apps solutions while also requiring a fundamental understanding of Power BI to support data visualization initiatives. The ideal candidate will work closely with project teams to enhance business processes through automation, application development, and data-driven decision-making. Key Responsibilities • Power Apps Development: ◦ Design, develop, and implement custom Power Apps to optimize internal operational processes. ◦ Automate workflows and integrate data from SharePoint and other sources into Power Apps solutions. ◦ Maintain and enhance existing Power Apps applications to meet evolving project needs. • Power BI & Data Analytics: ◦ Develop Power BI dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights for leadership and decision-makers. ◦ Gather and analyze data from multiple sources to enhance visualization and reporting capabilities. ◦ Ensure best practices in data modeling, report design, and performance optimization. • Collaboration & Process Improvement: ◦ Work closely with business analysts, project managers, and technical teams to identify automation opportunities. ◦ Analyze existing business processes, data workflows, and control procedures to recommend and implement improvements. ◦ Support knowledge management and data integration efforts across directorates. Basic Qualifications • Strong experience with Microsoft Power Apps development, including canvas and model-driven apps. • Fundamental Power BI skills, with the ability to create reports and dashboards using best practices in data visualization. • Experience integrating Power Apps with SharePoint, Dataverse, SQL databases, and other data sources. • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a government project office environment. • Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for documentation and collaboration. • Experience with Power Automate for workflow automation is a plus. Preferred Qualifications • JavaScript and JSON experience for Power Apps customization. • Background in HTML/CSS for UI/UX enhancements within Power Apps. • Experience with CMS tools and SharePoint development. • Prior experience working within Army or DoD environments supporting Mission Command systems. Clearance Requirement • Active DoD Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain one. Education & Experience • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field. • Relevant work experience in Power Apps and Power BI development.
