Poultry Processing Worker - Tuscaloosa Night Shift - peco foods : Job Details

Duties:Comply with all company policies and procedures with regards to safety, quality, and all plant specific procedures and rulesInspect all product for defects; both naturally and unnaturally occurringWork at a safe pace necessary to maintain efficient production at all timesKow and understand specifications/requirements for each productSafely work with and around knives, scissors, and other equipmentBe familiar with and maintain compliance with all applicable departmental and facility job hazard analysis (JHA) and job safety analysis (JSA)Be familiar with and maintain compliance of all food safety, HACCAP, and OSHA regulationsWork well with a team and independentlyMust be available to wok overtime when necessary to meet production needsPhysical Demands:Must be able to move (bend, stoop, climb stairs) within the departmentMust be able to stand up to 100% of the scheduled shiftDemands include but not limited to gripping, lifting, cutting, and repetitive use of handsAbility to properly wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required by the company and job specific JHAAbility to lift/maneuver up to 50lbsAbility to work in extreme cold or hot temperaturesThis description is not a comprehensive list of duties or responsibilities.
