• Manage daily operations of the postal department, including sorting, preparation, and delivery of outbound mail.
• Ensure compliance with all USPS regulations, including current postal rate structures, presort standards, and mail preparation guidelines.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date knowledge of postal changes and industry trends to ensure best practices.
• Collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, Production, and IT to ensure seamless integration of mailing requirements with print jobs.
• Review mailing data files and assist with postal software to ensure accuracy and optimization.
• Oversee the preparation of postage statements and coordinate with USPS for mail verification and acceptance.
• Manage postal reporting and monitor postage usage to ensure budgets are maintained.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities in postage and transportation logistics.
• Hire, train, schedule, and manage postal department staff.
• Maintain mailing equipment and ensure timely maintenance or upgrades.
• Ensure proper documentation and adherence to internal quality control procedures.

Experience & Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years of postal experience.
• Must be able to pass a background check as condition of employment.
• Printing industry experience preferred.
