Lead plant breeding and pre-breeding research in START-UP SETTING since it is relatively new breeding program and it is TIME DEMANDING.- Strong knowledge of breeding methods used in vegetable breeding.- Handle and operate analytical biochemistry, molecular biology, and high-throughput phenotyping equipments and tools.- Understand statistical principles and applications to be applied in breeding research.- Excellent oral and written communication skills.- Interest in collaborative research and ability to work in multicultural team.- Obtain driving license and operate the vehicle. Relevant/ Preferred Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification in Position PhD in Plant Breeding or equivalent topic. Prior experience in pre- and post-harvest biochemistry and physiology, electron microscopy, pre-breeding, genomic selection, disease resistance screening, and wet lab research.
