Responsibilities:Are you a healthcare professional with a knack for navigating complex insurance landscapes? If so, we want you to join our dynamic team as a Post-Acute Solutions Authorization Specialist!
You'll play a pivotal part in our pre-admission process, ensuring seamless patient transitions, supporting a positive patient experience, and maximizing reimbursement. Your role is critical in securing necessary authorizations, verifying insurance benefits, and acting as a subject matter expert for all referrals and admissions.
Position Highlights
*Manage all pre-admission patient authorizations, prioritizing workload to ensure timely and accurate approvals.
*Navigate complex insurance policies, communicate effectively with providers and insurance companies, and act as an escalation point for payor issues.
*Utilize your knowledge of medical terminology, diagnosis codes, and healthcare insurance policies to secure appropriate payor sources.
*Serve as a liaison between various teams, including Business Development, Nursing Centers, and Revenue Cycle Management, fostering a collaborative environment.
*Coach team members on authorization processes and assist in maximizing Managed Care census and revenue.
*Accurately document all pre-authorization activities and utilize PCC reports to ensure compliance.
Qualifications:*Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Business Administration Information Technology, or a related field preferred. *Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a healthcare support role or related field.
*Strong knowledge of healthcare technology and systems.
*Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
*Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
*Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, analyze trends, and develop actionable insights.
*Proficiency in Google Suite, Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
*Willingness to travel nationally as needed.

Posted Salary Range: USD $70,000.00 - USD $78,000.00 /Hr.
