Position: POS Process Specialist Location: Santa Monica, CA (On-site) Type: Temporary Pay Rate: $32/hour Overview Eastridge is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented POS Process Specialist to support the Sales & Trade Marketing Team of a leading consumer goods company in Santa Monica, CA. This individual will execute the company's Point of Sale (POS) strategy across multiple business units, ensuring timely, on-brand delivery of POS materials. This is a great opportunity for a motivated professional with experience in project coordination, sales execution, and cross-functional communication in the consumer goods industry. Key ResponsibilitiesPOS Execution & Strategy
  • Drive day-to-day POS operations and communication across internal teams.
  • Manage POS orders, inventory coordination, and issue resolution.
  • Partner with field sales, brand, operations, and finance teams to ensure timely and brand-compliant POS deployment.
  • Serve as first point of contact for POS troubleshooting and support requests.
  • Analyze and manage orders for VIP displays, yard sales, and ad-hoc initiatives.
Business Planning Support
  • Support sales and distribution teams with business planning and budget tracking.
  • Deliver planning materials and communications on time, with necessary approvals.
  • Serve as project manager for Business Planning (BP) initiatives, ensuring cross-functional accountability.
Project Management
  • Lead POS-related initiatives and ensure proactive communication of project status to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to meet project milestones.
Distribution & Data Analysis
  • Execute and analyze POS inventory surveys across distributor partners.
  • Provide data-driven insights to optimize inventory visibility and management.
Internal Communication
  • Develop content for newsletters, national calls, and internal meetings.
  • Maintain organized shared drives and a POS calendar to track milestones, deadlines, and updates.
  • Ensure timely communication to field teams regarding POS developments.
Qualifications
  • 1-2 years' experience in the consumer goods industry with retail exposure.
  • Strong project management, prioritization, and planning skills.
  • Proficient in Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint; experience with BI tools and Monday.com preferred.
  • Experience in POS production (print, temporary, and permanent) is required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and collaborative team player.
