We are seeking a Portuguese Speaking Legal Underwriting Specialist to evaluate new prospects and perform risk analysis and due diligence on existing customers. Candidates must be fully fluent in both English and Portuguese, with the ability to:

• Perform legal research on UCC filings, judgments, liens, and tax obligations.
• File UCC-1 Financing Statements and amendments.
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold quality standards.
• Analyze corporate documents such as bylaws, articles, and operating agreements.
• Complete risk analysis and due diligence reviews.
• Support document control processes.
• Develop knowledge of international business operations, if applicable.
• Identify and resolve account irregularities.
• Contribute to strategic growth initiatives.
• Communicate progress and issues effectively within the team.
• Review and revise agreements with training.

• Bachelors degree and 1+ years of experience or 5+ years of equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in Portuguese is required.
• Experience in underwriting or analysis preferred.
• Knowledge of corporate filings and UCC financing statements.
• Strong ethical standards and independent judgment.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Attention to detail and task prioritization skills.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
• Paralegal certification is a plus.
