Bravo Property Trust is a leading real estate lender specializing in providing single-source debt solutions to multifamily and healthcare sponsors. Our expertise lies in originating, underwriting, and financing bridge-to-HUD transactions. We are seeking a talented and experienced Portfolio Manager to join our growing team.

Position Overview

The Portfolio Manager will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing Bravo Property Trust's portfolio of bridge and HUD loans. This position requires a deep understanding of real estate finance, particularly in the multifamily and healthcare sectors, and the ability to navigate the complexities of bridge-to-HUD financing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and monitor the performance of Bravo's loan portfolio, ensuring alignment with company goals and risk parameters.
  • Play a central role in credit decisions by partnering with underwriting and origination teams to evaluate new investment opportunities and assess their impact on the overall portfolio.
  • Conduct regular portfolio reviews and risk assessments, identifying potential issues and recommending mitigation strategies.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to analyze portfolio performance and project future outcomes.
  • Prepare detailed reports on portfolio performance for senior management and investors.
  • Work closely with asset management and origination teams to optimize portfolio returns and manage risk.
  • Monitor market trends and regulatory changes that may impact the portfolio or create new opportunities.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of portfolio management strategies and policies.
  • Participate in the bridge-to-HUD transition process, ensuring smooth execution of the HUD takeout strategy.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, or related field; MBA or relevant master's degree preferred
  • 2-5 years of experience in real estate finance, with a focus on multifamily and/or healthcare sectors
  • Strong understanding of bridge lending
  • Excellent analytical and financial modeling skills
  • Fluency in Excel, financial analysis software, and portfolio management tools
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with bridge-to-HUD financing structures
  • Knowledge of real estate capital markets and investment strategies
  • Familiarity with risk management practices in real estate lending
