LOWER BURRELL POLICE DEPARTMENT:The Lower Burrell Civil Service Commission, is conducting testing to establish an eligibility list for the position of Patrol Officer. Applicants meeting the minimum qualifications will be scheduled fora physical agility test and a written Civil Service Examination to be held on Friday, December 5, 2025, at the Criminal Justice Training Center; Robert Shaw Building; 650 South 13th Street, Indiana, PA 15705 at 10:00 A.M. sharp. Applicants arriving late will not be permitted to test. Applicants will be given a physical agility test graded on a pass/fail standard. Applicants failing this test will be immediately disqualified from the testing procedure. Applicants passing the physical agility test will be given further instructions following completion of the test and will remain at the testing location for the administration of the written exam. Applicants must score eighty percent (80%) or higher and receive one of the top twelve (12) written test scores to be eligible to proceed to the Civil Service Oral Examination. You must be physically and mentally fit to perform the full duties of a police officer for the Lower Burrell Police Department as determined by the physical and psychological testing. You must be able to perform the essential duties of a full-time police officer with or without accommodation.
