TITLE: Plumbing Trainer\n\nDEPARTMENT: Meskwaki Nation Apprenticeship Program\n\nCLASSIFICATION: Non-Exempt\n\nDUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:\n\n* Follow established rules and regulations; maintain a safe, clean working environment.\n* Daily supervision & mentorship of Meskwaki Apprenticeship Program participants in residential\/commercial\/industrial plumbing.\n* Organize, file and maintain daily records\n* Assist in the coordination of service call & mechanical construction projects\n* Assist in the planning & coordination of on the job and learning lab activities\n* Assist in the assessment\/evaluation of Meskwaki Apprenticeship Program participants\n* Assist in the development & execution of on the job learning in accordance to the Meskwaki Apprenticeship Program curriculum\n* Complete commercial\/residential plumbing projects in a timely manner as assigned\n* Assist in the creation of project plans; materials, quotes, budgets, timelines\n* Effectively integrate technology and sustainable building practices into the apprenticeship learning environment\n* Insure adherence to US Department of Labor Apprenticeship Standards\n* Participate in After Hours On-Call schedule as assigned\n* Perform other duties as assigned\n\n\nREQUIREMENTS:\n\n* Minimum of 5 years\/10,000 hours on the job experience in Plumbing.\n* A minimum of a Journeyperson's license in plumbing.\n* Masters license in plumbing preferred.\n* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail\n* Minimum 3 years' experience of jobsite management.\n* Demonstrated knowledge and experience in teambuilding and teamwork\n* Strong organizational and customer relations skills\n* Ability to provide supervision and mentorship for apprenticeship participants.\n* Hold a current or be willing to obtain CPR\/First Aid certification.\n* Basic to intermediate knowledge and proficiency with office and contractor computer programs.\n* Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.\n* Must possess a valid driver's license and be insurable\n* Must be able to pass a background check\n\nSUPERVISION: Direct supervision by the Lead Plumbing Instructor\n\nSALARY LEVEL: Annual Salary Range is $41,766.40 - $69,596.80 ,
