About Our Client We are actively seeking a talented Plumbing Estimator to join our team in Syracuse, NY. As an integral part of our commercial plumbing and mechanical contracting company, the MEP Estimator will lead the estimation process for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing on commercial building and construction projects, ensuring accurate and competitive bids on commercial builds throughout the Syracuse area. Job Description Key Responsibilities of the MEP Estimator

• Review blueprints, specifications, and technical documents for MEP systems.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor services.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and suppliers to gather necessary information.
• Attend pre-bid meetings and conduct site visits in the Syracuse, NY region as needed.
• Keep up to date on market prices, codes, and industry best practices specific to MEP contracting.
• Deliver timely and thorough bid proposals that support our growth in Syracuse and beyond.

• Minimum 5 years' experience as an MEP Estimator, preferably with commercial projects.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Proficient with estimating software such as Trimble, QuickPen, or similar platforms.
• Excellent communication, math, and analytical skills.
• Experience with commercial projects ranging from $100K to $10M+ preferred.
