What You'll Do

  • Become a subject matter expert with the AbsenceSoft software, configurations and capabilities, and use this knowledge to consult with customers to identify gaps in setup, advise on best practices and design solutions for complex requirements that may involve configuration/customization.
  • Conduct strategic reviews of customer tenant configurations and support Success Planning sessions with customers.
  • Participate in onsite visits with customers, providing platform expertise and best practice guidance that drives feature adoption and increased customer value.
  • Translate customer needs into clearly defined Professional Services projects by scoping the required work, estimating effort and timeline, and supporting the development of statements of work (SOWs) to ensure successful delivery.
  • Work cross-functionally with the AbsenceSoft Product, Compliance, Support and Customer Success teams to deliver change management projects for customer initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Support Team and Business System Analysts to identify platform experience opportunities and contribute to initiatives to improve customer configuration and platform offerings.
  • Assist with cataloging product gaps and limitations with the ability to outline solutions and business cases.
  • Assist with ongoing creation and maintenance of Best Practice documentation for product implementations and procedures for configuration changes, and act as a resource for team members with questions.
  • Support for Solutions Consultant and Sale teams for non-standard requests from prospective customers .
  • Collaborate with Marketing to build and execute customer communications.
  • Effectively engage with customers involved in relevant projects, acting in a consultative manner with a solution-oriented mindset.
  • Represent us in a professional manner and demonstrate respect for and responsiveness to our customers and colleagues.
  • Participate in a highly compliant environment while assisting to maintain company controls and security within your job role
  • Other duties as assigned

What'll Set You Up for Success

Required Skills:

  • 4-5+ years' work experience as a project manager in a technology business with hands on experience with a SaaS system
  • Exceptional written, verbal and presentation skills. Able to interact and present via remote technology or in person to all types of audiences with varying technical levels.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers in a concise and professional manner. Must show effectiveness in acting in a consultative manner.
  • Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Motivated, proactive, service-oriented and has the ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Ability to ‘roll-up your sleeves' to help get the job done
  • Ability to work closely and organize team members cross-departmentally to deliver projects (meeting project objectives and delivering high quality)
  • Undergraduate degree in Business, Management Information Systems or equivalent preferred
  • Be willing to travel
    • Travel is generally limited and many meetings with customers are virtual – but travel can be up to 20% - 30%

Nice to Have:

  • High proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
  • Experience working with the AbsenceSoft platform
  • Work experience in a Change Management role within a SaaS system
  • Work Experience in a Product role within a SaaS system
