Platform Engineer (Remote / Contract) - Jun Group : Job Details

We are seeking a Platform Engineer to join our DevOps team to help manage our diverse and expanding initiatives. This is a contract position that allows remote work from anywhere in the US or outside the US. The candidate should be willing to collaborate during US business hours with our US-based engineering team.

• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform)
• Develop, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, ArgoCD)
• Manage Kubernetes clusters (EKS, GKE)
• Create and maintain Helm charts for applications and services
• Ensure platform scalability, reliability, and availability (load balancing, auto-scaling, disaster recovery)
• Set up and manage observability and monitoring solutions (Grafana, New Relic, OpenTelemetry)
• Provide operational support for primary revenue-generating applications, proactively participating in incident resolution
• Guide development teams on infrastructure best practices, security standards, and platform usage

• Programming Languages: Ruby/Rails, Elixir, Python, JavaScript (JQuery, AngularJS, Vue.js)
• Cloud Platforms: AWS (EKS, ECS, RDS, MySQL, PostgresSQL, Redis, Elasticache, CodePipeline), GCP (GKE, BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Functions, Cloud Build)
