Platform Business Development ManagerDepartment: Platform Business Reports to: Director of Platform Business Location: Wendell, NC Position Status: Full-Time Status: Salary, Exempt Management Level: Management JOB SUMMARY KIOTI Tractor, a leader in the design and manufacture of compact tractors, utility vehicles, turf care, and compact construction equipment, is seeking a Platform Business Development Manager with a strong background in digital solutions, app/web content, and telematics. This role plays a critical part in driving new business opportunities and revenue growth by leveraging advanced connectivity technologies and data-driven services. The ideal candidate will bring proven experience in product and business planning within the telematics or mobility connectivity space, along with a comprehensive understanding of how data from connected equipment can be transformed into valuable customer-facing solutions. This position will be instrumental in shaping and commercializing innovative digital offerings that align with KIOTI's long-term strategic goals. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF JOB
  • Strategic Planning & Market Analysis: Identify new market opportunities through tend analysis, competitive benchmarking, and strategic research to guide business direction and digital growth initiatives.
  • Content Strategy Development & Execution: Develop and implement comprehensive content strategies across web and app platforms, including defining topics, formats, and delivery channels aligned with target audience needs.
  • Digital Service Planning & Operations: Plan and manage the process for delivering valuable digital content and services to users. Curate, promote, and optimize customer-generated and in-house content to increase web and app engagement and user retention.
  • Content Creation & Curation: Create and curate a range of engaging digital content - such as blog posts, videos, infographics, and articles - tailored to the app/web audience. Write, edit, and publish content across platforms including blogs, social media, and email campaigns.
  • Business Development & Revenue Modeling: Evaluate the value of products, data, and services delivered to customers. Design and propose revenue models based on content usage and subscription behavior. Continuously refine pricing and business models to ensure competitiveness and customer appeal.
  • Channel Management: Oversee content distribution across all digital channels including websites, email marketing, and social media, ensuring consistent messaging and optimal performance.
EDUCATIONAL AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Information Systems, or a related field
  • 8+ years of experience in web/app-based digital content business, including functional design, business development, and monetization strategies
  • Proven experience in content and product strategy development, particularly for connected or digital services
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a solid understanding of data-driven decision-making
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead complex initiatives across cross-functional teams
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas and influence stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to create, edit, and curate high-quality digital content across various platforms
  • Solid understanding of SEO principles, digital marketing best practices, and content performance analytics
  • Technologically proficient, with knowledge of web/app platforms, software tools, and digital service infrastructure
  • Preferred: Experience in product or business planning related to telematics or connected services in the mobility, automotive, or agricultural or construction equipment industries
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
