Plastics Process Engineer - Corning : Job Details

To provide technical engineering support to the molding and assembly areas working across functional boundaries to assist in configuring, implementing, and optimizing production processes within the plant with a weighted focus on the plastic forming processes. Day-to-Day Responsibilities Provide technical assistance on existing plastics processing equipment. Assist in the design, testing and upgrades of production systems and processes. Provide feedback and support to implement best practices as a means of improving production output Identify process improvement opportunities through use of statistical methods of process analysis. Prepare and train others on operating instructions and process documentation. Contribute to quality assurance initiatives and continuous improvement efforts within the organization.
