Plastics Engineer - PET Recycling 2763 Greenville, SC Plastics Engineer - PET Recycling Lead our product launch from R&D to production. Seeking skilled and motivated Plastics Engineer to join our recycled PET (rPET) manufacturing team. This role is critical in ensuring efficient, high-quality, and cost-effective production of rPET while maintaining safety, sustainability, and compliance standards. About this Job
- Analyze and optimize rPET manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, yield, and product quality.
- Develop and implement process control systems to ensure consistency and compliance with industry standards.
- Identify and troubleshoot process inefficiencies, quality issues, and equipment performance problems.
- Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and quality teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Develop and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and process documentation.

Ideal Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in plastics, chemical, mechanical, industrial engineering, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in process engineering, preferably in plastics, polymer, or rPET manufacturing.
- Ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing processes, process optimization, and continuous improvement.
- Strong knowledge of extrusion, decontamination, and filtration processes in rPET production.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
