Position Available: Center Medical Specialist

Seeking: EMT Basic, EMT Advanced, Paramedic, or LPN for a Plasma Donation Center!

Note: Salary is based on your licensure and experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct physical examinations and gather medical histories to assess donor eligibility.
• Build lasting relationships with donors to ensure satisfaction.
• Maintain confidentiality for both donors and staff.
• Educate donors about health and safety while providing support for any concerns.
• Assess and manage donor injuries or adverse reactions.
• Evaluate medical histories and medications to confirm ongoing donor suitability.
• Assist in the training of staff and administration of the employee Hepatitis Vaccine program.

Qualifications:

Must be educated and certified/licensed in your state as a Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse, Licensed Vocational Nurse, Paramedic, or EMT. Current CPR certification is essential.

Additional Attributes:

• Ability to stand and sit for extended periods.
• Must perform various physical movements including bending and twisting.
• Frequent manual dexterity required for tasks.
• Capable of light lifting (up to 15lbs) and occasionally heavier lifting (up to 50lbs).
• Essential hearing acuity and visual ability to meet job demands.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

This position is within a plasma center, requiring familiarity with biohazards and potential exposure to infectious agents. Safety equipment will be provided to ensure a secure working environment.
