This role involves leading a team, implementing lean manufacturing principles, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production efficiency and meet company objectives.Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations of the plant to ensure efficient production processes.
• Lead and manage a team of production staff, providing guidance and support to achieve production targets.
• Implement lean manufacturing principles to minimize waste and improve productivity.
• Monitor production quality and safety standards, ensuring compliance with all regulations.
• Collaborate with the Plant Manager to develop and execute production schedules and plans.
• Conduct training sessions for staff on safety, quality control, and operational procedures.
• Analyze production data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in food science, engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in food production.
• Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with food safety regulations and quality control standards.
