- Supervise daily operations of the plant to ensure efficient production processes.
- Lead and manage a team of production staff, providing guidance and support to achieve production targets.
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to minimize waste and improve productivity.
- Monitor production quality and safety standards, ensuring compliance with all regulations.
- Collaborate with the Plant Manager to develop and execute production schedules and plans.
- Conduct training sessions for staff on safety, quality control, and operational procedures.
- Analyze production data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in food science, engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in food production.
- Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and quality control standards.
