Job Description :

Osage Beach for Behavioral Medicine - a comprehensive inpatient behavioral health facility. Our center provides acute behavioral health care and outpatient treatment to adults and geriatric adults in crisis due to severe symptoms related to behavioral health and/or substance use disorder.

The Plant Operations and Safety Manager oversees the maintenance of buildings, grounds, fixtures, and facility equipment. They ensure the safe operation of the Hazardous Materials and Waste Management Program and Safety Program. Oversight may include departments such as security, maintenance, facilities, materials management, and housekeeping.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; preferred in Business or a technical field.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of construction/maintenance experience or ten (10) years of supervisory experience in construction/maintenance.
  • Ability to manage multiple vendors.
  • Certified Maintenance Manager (CMM) is a plus; Certified Healthcare Facilities Management (CHFM) preferred.

Licenses/Certifications:

  • Valid state driver's license with F-endorsement (if required).
  • First Aid, CPR, de-escalation, and restraint certifications required (training provided upon hire).

  • Focus on acute intervention with short-term stays

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee general building maintenance including plumbing, carpentry, painting, roofing, minor repairs, and electrical work.
  • Ensure preventative maintenance on all equipment.
  • Maintain the facility in a sanitary, attractive, safe, and compliant condition.
  • Manage operations of water supplies, emergency electrical systems, sewage, primary electrical, telephone, fire alarm, heating, and cooling systems.
  • Develop maintenance plans and project recommendations.
  • Respond to fire and disaster emergencies per protocols.
  • Coordinate outside vendors/contractors and maintenance staff for projects.
  • Day hours with on-call availability at night for emergencies.
