Plant Operator - Martin Marietta Materials : Job Details

Responsible for safely and efficiently starting and regulating plant processing equipment. The Plant Operator will run and monitor plant operations from a centralized location under the direction of the Plant Manager and Foreman. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor; participate in safety inspections and plant safety program. Responsibilities:Prioritizes SAFETY, then QUALITY, followed by PRODUCTION - Will take an active role in the plant safety initiatives. Ensures a safe work environment for self and others at all times. Assist with training of co-workers as needed. Daily Pre and Post Inspections of the work area. Starts, monitors, and regulates plant processing equipment within the company guidelines and safety standards. Monitors/ Maintains load-out area and operates mobile equipment as needed. Aides in plant operation and repairs to plant equipment. Participates in other tasks required by the supervisor.
