Plant Manager – Competitive Salary (With Equity) – Southern Virginia/North Carolina – Renewable Energy Start-up

My client is an innovative, well-backed start-up developing a unique method of converting waste into renewable energy. They're opening a pilot plant this year and will need a plant manager to oversee and expand operations.

Main Duties:

  • Direct daily plant operations and ensure compliance with targets, safety & quality
  • Regulatory compliance
  • Management and leadership – including training, developing and hiring
  • Process development and optimization
  • Budgeting & reporting
  • Oversight of equipment maintenance

    • Skills and experience required:

  • Degree in Mechanical or Chemical engineering preferable, significant experience considered
  • Experience in a plant management role
  • Experience with thermal conversion technologies
