Position Title: Plant Manager

Reports To: President and COO

FLSA Status: Non-exempt

Summary:

New River Tire Recycling and RUBBERlogix is a family-owned manufacturing

business that is investing in the future and creating new jobs for Surry

County. We keep over 4 million tires out of landfills every year by upcycling

the rubber into performance products that make people's lives better. Come be a

Our New River Tire Recycling and Rubberlogix teams are in search of a smart,

positive, energetic and strong leader to join us as a Plant Manager. A good Plant

Manager is always looking for ways to engage their employees and make the

workplace more effective and efficient. They need excellent leadership skills,

social skills, and knowledge of actively listening. Other vital qualities of an

efficient Plant Manager are understanding finances, supply chain management,

workflow, and staffing. The Plant Manager role is to implement the right

processes and practices across the organization.

The specific duties of a Plant Manager include formulating strategy, improving performance, procuring material and resources and securing compliance. You should be ready to mentor your team

members, find ways to increase quality of customer service and implement best practices across all levels. Ultimately, we'll trust you to help us remain compliant, efficient, and profitable during business.

Shift: 7am-5:00pm,

Monday-Friday and occasional Saturdays Location: 312 East 52 Bypass, Pilot Mountain, NC

Salary Range: $80,000 - $100,000, based on experience

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure all Plant are carried on in an appropriate, cost-effective way

• Improve operational management systems, processes, and best practices

• Purchase materials, plan inventory and oversee warehouse efficiency

• Help the organization's processes remain legally compliant

• Formulate strategic and operational objectives

• Examine financial data and use them to improve profitability

• Manage budgets and forecasts

• Perform quality controls and monitor production KPIs

• Recruit, train and supervise staff

• Find ways to increase quality of customer service Requirements:

•Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in Business, Plant Management, or related field

• Five to ten years related experience.

• Proven work experience as Plant Manager or similar role

• Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and Plant management

•Experience budgeting and forecasting

• Familiarity with business and financial principles

• Excellent communication skills

• Leadership ability

• Outstanding organizational skills
