Plant Manager - Star Wipers : Job Details

Star Wipers is seeking an experienced, motivated, career oriented, Plant Manger to oversee and optimize its operations in Newark, Ohio. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with a proven track record of driving operational excellence and a deep understanding of manufacturing processes. This individual will be instrumental in ensuring the efficiency and productivity of the Newark OH facility, while upholding Star Wipers' commitment to quality and customer service. The schedule is 1st shift, Monday – Friday with salary range of $80k-$100k/year.

Responsibilities

• Leading and managing the daily operations of the Newark facility including packaging, production and distribution departments and ensuring production targets are met and quality standards are maintained.
• Effectively communicate with and mentor 70+ team members
• Overseeing staffing, operational, reporting, and planning.
• Developing and implementing procedures to improve productivity and workflow or improve existing procedures.
• Ensuring compliance with all health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations and quality management programs.
• Overseeing the distribution center operations, including logistics and maintenance.
• Guiding and supporting the production team, providing mentorship and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in relevant software and technology, potentially including manufacturing software systems and ERP systems.
• Work closely with the other leaders at Star Wipers in a team atmosphere to drive excellence.
