Associated Materials Innovations is a leader in exterior building products for residential and commercial remodeling and new construction markets. We produce vinyl windows and distribute these and other essential building products to ensure customers find everything they need for their exteriors. The AMI Kinston facility is part of the Windows segment of the overall enterprise with nearly a half million windows produced annually.
Position Overview:
The Plant Manager – Kinston has the responsibility to build up the plant operations processes and culture. Under the general direction of the Vice President of Operations, the Plant Manager (PM) position is responsible for, and directs and manages all plant operations. This position has the overall responsibility for production at their respective manufacturing facility, and for driving Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) and Continuous Improvement (CI) activities and initiatives.

Since opening in 1989, the AMI Kinston manufacturing facility has been a cornerstone of window manufacturing for over three decades. Today, the facility remains focused on meeting evolving customer needs through advanced technologies like the Forel automated glass line. Future enhancements will include cutting-edge flexible spacer technology and fully automated insulated glass (IG) assembly, further strengthening our ability to serve the Eastern U.S. market.
What Makes Kinston Unique
Located in a 318,500 sq. ft. facility, the Kinston team includes approximately 450 employees, making it one of the largest employers in Lenoir County. The team manufactures a range of high-performance window products, including standard and casement windows, specialty shapes, along with well-known window brands such as Iris, Mezzo, and Preservation. The facility has production volumes of around 554,000 window units annually (based on 2024 data).
