Job Description :

Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a Plant Manager role in Woodland. Essential Functions:

  • Ensures a safe working environment for all employees, adhering to all laws and regulations
  • Leads, mentors, and trains the Production Manager, Supervisors, and staff to enhance productivity, improve quality, and adopt new principles and techniques
  • Analyzes work hour requirements to ensure timely completion of scheduled production
  • Collaborates with internal departments (Quality Control, Technical, and SQF teams) to identify and resolve issues affecting efficiency, food safety, and quality
  • Ensures customer specifications are met and supports resolution of internal and external quality complaints
  • Establishes and reviews production standards, driving process standardization, implementation of metrics, and adoption of best practices
  • Develops production budget
  • Ensures timely completion of action items from internal facility audits
  • Schedules and ensures completion of preventative maintenance in a timely manner
  • Serves as a member of the CAPA team
  • Ensures adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and SQF guidelines for all employees and visitors, in alignment with the Food Safety and Quality Manual
  • Leads cross-functional continuous improvement teams focused on measurable gains in quality, service, and cost efficiency
  • Assists in setting annual operational targets and drives improvements to achieve those targets
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Oversees Production Manager, Maintenance Manager, and Warehouse Manager

Work Environment:

  • Office and warehouse environment

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to lift up to 25+ lbs
  • Ability to sit and stand for prolonged periods

Travel Requirements:

  • As needed

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in a related field
  • 5 years of management experience in directly applicable manufacturing, engineering, or flexographic printing field
  • 5 years of experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience) leading lean projects and continuous improvement initiatives

  • VP, Operations & Technology

FLSA:

  • Exempt

Work Authorization:

  • Must be eligible to work in the US
