Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Plant Manager to lead and oversee all daily operations of our manufacturing facility. You will be responsible for ensuring production efficiency, quality, safety, and cost-effective management of resources. This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and hands-on operational expertise to drive continuous improvement and support company growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all plant operations, including production, maintenance, quality control, and logistics.
- Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team to meet or exceed productivity, quality, and safety goals.
- Oversee production scheduling and capacity planning to meet customer demand and delivery deadlines.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to drive efficiency, reduce costs, and improve processes.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations and promote a culture of safety throughout the facility.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and report on plant performance to senior management.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, supply chain, HR, and finance to support company objectives.
- Champion lean manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage budgets and ensure cost control measures are implemented and followed.
- Ensure the plant is operating in accordance with all regulatory and quality standards (ISO, OSHA, etc.).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Industrial Management, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 7–10 years of progressive leadership experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 3 years in a plant management role.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing systems, process improvement methodologies, and production planning.
- Proven experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in ERP systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and data-driven decision-making.
- Demonstrated ability to manage change and drive organizational performance.
