General Description
The Plant Manager will oversee and manage the operation of the prefabrication and building assembly plant to ensure maximum efficiency, productivity, and quality. The implementation of lean practices will be instrumental in driving continuous improvement and operational excellence. This individual will be involved in setting up this new manufacturing location for our organization.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of assembly, including production, quality control, inventory management, and logistics.
- Develop and implement lean manufacturing strategies to eliminate waste, reduce lead times, and improve plant performance.
- Lead supervisors and assembly staff, providing guidance, training, and fostering continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with engineering, design, and supply chain teams to optimize processes and quality.
- Monitor KPIs to identify improvement areas and implement corrective actions.
- Implement standard work procedures, visual management, and lean tools to streamline operations.
- Ensure safety compliance and maintain a safe work environment.
- Manage P&L responsibilities.
- Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices in lean manufacturing and construction.
Education, Skills, and Abilities
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Industrial Management, or related field.
- At least 5 years of supervisory or managerial experience, preferably in prefabrication and assembly manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles (5S, Value stream mapping, Kanban, continuous improvement).
- Excellent management and financial skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
- Valid driver's license and ability to operate a vehicle.
Physical Requirements / ADA Essential Functions
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
- Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Visual acuity for reading small print.
- Effective communication skills.
- Ability to lift and move supplies/equipment up to 50 lbs.
- Mobility to move around the facility.

- General manufacturing environment.
