Plant Loader Operator - Martin Marietta Materials : Job Details

This position involves primarily operating a loader to feed the asphalt plant, excavate, move, load, and grade earth, rock, gravel, or other materials in a safe manner. May operate a variety of other vehicles and heavy construction equipment. Responsibilities Ensures a safe work environment in compliance with all safety policies and procedures using the appropriate tools and equipment for the task. Operates a variety of vehicles and heavy construction equipment as needed. Performs routine inspections and maintenance on equipment, reports defects and repairs to the maintenance department. Take action to avoid potential hazards and obstructions, such as utility lines, other equipment, other workers, and objects. Operates other heavy equipment and other construction-related duties as required. This position will have cross functional tasks that include labor work and maintenance.
