Plant Health and Safety Coordinator - Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company : Job Details

The Plant Health and Safety Coordinator provides site-wide safety leadership by collaborating and coordinating safety, industrial hygiene, and training programs to maintain compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. This position is responsible for the design and implementation of new safety programs and for fostering a spirit of continuous improvement to strengthen the site's safety culture. This role will collaborate with the operations and maintenance departments to build capability and execute key programs such as LOTO, safe work permit, hazard identification, pre-work safety reviews, ergonomics, and other life-critical programs. This role will lead plant safety review meetings, track and report metrics and serve as the subject-matter-expert of the corporate database system for incident reporting, IH sampling and auditing.
