We're looking for a Plant Controller to join our team! In this key leadership role, the Plant Controller will oversee all accounting operations, financial reporting, and analysis, including the preparation of consolidated financial statements across multiple locations. This position ensures compliance with professional standards and all applicable state and federal regulations, while also maintaining and strengthening internal controls to support a solid financial infrastructure. The Plant Controller will regularly present financial reports and identify potential risk areas to senior leadership. Additionally, this role plays an active part in materials and commodities procurement by supporting the development and execution of related policies, practices, and procedures.What You'll Do

• Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, and analysis, including the preparation of consolidated financial statements for multiple sites.
• Ensure all financial policies and procedures comply with professional standards and applicable federal and state regulations.
• Establish and maintain strong internal controls to support the financial infrastructure.
• Present accurate and timely financial reports and identify potential risk areas to senior leadership.
• Lead efforts in accurate product costing across multiple locations, analyzing resource utilization and allocating cost appropriately.
• Manage inventory procedures to ensure accurate inventory levels through routine cycle counts, physical inventory, and oversight of raw materials, MRO, and finished goods.
• Participate in material and commodities procurement, supporting risk management strategies, commodity position management, and general procurement practices in collaboration with the Director of Procurement.
• Budget & Forecast Management:
• Compile and manage the annual budget and monthly financial forecasts for assigned locations.

Monthly Financial Reporting & Analysis

• Complete month-end close process and generate corresponding monthly financial statements.
• Compile and distribute financial reporting packages to the Executive Committee.

Internal Controls Compliance

• Ensure data integrity within SAP and the accuracy of financial statements.
• Maintain proper documentation to support all financial procedures and ensure regulatory compliance.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• MBA or CPA required.
• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment, with an emphasis on cost accounting, reporting, and variance analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact effectively across all levels of the organization.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Experience managing inventory and conducting audits.
• SAP experience is required.
