Plant Accountant / Controller - The Judge Group : Job Details

Location: Monett, MOSalary: $75,000.00 USD Annually - $100,000.00 USD AnnuallyDescription: Plant Accountant / Controller Role Summary:Responsible for managing financial operations, reporting, and strategic analysis to support plant efficiency and compliance.Key Responsibilities:

• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
• Analyze financial data and recommend process improvements.
• Maintain chart of accounts and perform bank reconciliations.
• Oversee AP/AR, vendor payments, and credit monitoring.
• Review and manage manufacturing costs and overhead.
• Ensure accurate revenue and expense recording.
• Comply with government reporting and tax filings.
• Support inventory counts and reconciliation.
• Handle confidential data securely.
• Perform other assigned tasks.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's in Accounting or Business, or equivalent experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Deep technical accounting knowledge.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized.
