Job DescriptionPlanning Project Manager needed for our client in the Pawleys Island, SC area.Planning Project Manager will lead and manage planning and development projects within the civil engineering sector. This role requires strong project management skills, experience in civil engineering or urban planning, and the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. Responsibilities:
- Oversee site planning and research for multiple projects, ensuring thorough analysis and efficient execution of all planning activities.
- Coordinate and manage workloads for both yourself and drafting teams, ensuring timely and high-quality project deliverables.
- Communicate with clients and agency representatives to be able to produce site plans accurately and efficiently.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining regular communication and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure all projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations, including environmental, zoning, and safety standards.
- Prepare and present regular project updates and reports to stakeholders, including clients, senior management, and regulatory bodies.
- Implement quality control measures to ensure all project deliverables meet or exceed industry standards and client expectations.
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, urban planning, or construction management
- 5 plus years of project management experience within a civil engineering or urban planning field.
- Software proficiency with AutoCAD and GIS software
