Job Title: Pipeline LaborerDepartment: Pipeline & Facilities ConstructionReports To: Site SupervisorLocation: Project-Based (Various Field Sites in Western PA and surrounding areas)Now Hiring: Pipeline LaborerWest Penn Energy Services LLC is seeking dependable, safety-focused Pipeline Laborers to support our pipeline and facilities construction operations. This field-based role involves assisting with the installation, maintenance, and repair of natural gas pipelines and facility infrastructure, such as compressor stations.We're looking for individuals with at least 6 months of experience in the oil and gas industry performing similar work. A strong work ethic, reliability, and a commitment to safety are essential for success in this role.Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with trenching, pipefitting, backfilling, equipment installation, and general site prep on pipeline and facility projects.
- Safely operate and maintain hand and power tools (e.g., pipe cutters, wrenches, grinders).
- Perform physically demanding labor such as shoveling, lifting, and moving materials up to 50 lbs.
- Load and unload tools, materials, and equipment at job sites.
- Follow all company and industry safety procedures; use required PPE (hard hats, gloves, boots, safety glasses, etc.).
- Prepare and clean job sites to ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.
- Work as part of a crew and take direction from supervisors to complete tasks on time and to standard.
- Conduct basic quality checks to ensure pipeline and facility component integrity.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Site Supervisor or Project Manager.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 6 months of experience in the oil and gas industry performing pipeline or facilities construction work.
- Familiarity with hand and power tools and safe work practices.
- Ability to work in trenches, confined spaces, and at heights.
- Physically able to handle strenuous outdoor labor in all weather conditions.
- Willing to travel to various job sites and work overtime as needed.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Equipment operation experience (e.g., excavators, backhoes, skid steers) is a plus.
- OSHA 10/30 or pipeline safety training (preferred).
Working Conditions:
- Outdoor work in a variety of weather conditions (heat, cold, rain).
- Physically demanding tasks including lifting, climbing, kneeling, and digging.
- Remote job sites with possible overnight travel.
- Extended hours and overtime may be required to meet deadlines.
