Pipefitter - Tradesmen International, LLC : Job Details

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring skilled Journeyman Pipefitters for projects located in the Glen Burnie, MD area. This is a firstshift opportunity, and the pay rate is up to $30/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:

• Install and work with PVC piping, copper pipe, grooved pipe, carbon steel, and stainless steel piping
• Fit, grind, bevel, cut, lay out, and assemble various piping systems
• Work on storm drains and underground utilities
• Test piping systems for safety, leaks, and functionality
• Diagnose and repair pipe system malfunctions
• Install, modify, and repair fluid systems
• Rebuild and maintain various types of pumps
• Occasionally operate forklifts and other equipment
• Perform other tasks as needed

• Previous experience in pipefitting (industrial or commercial preferred)
• Proficiency with tools and techniques related to pipe installation and repair
• Must have own tools for the trade
• Ability to read and interpret piping schematics and construction drawings
• Reliable transportation
