Pipefitter Foreman - Maryland Staffing : Job Details

Ultimate LLC is immediately hiring a Pipefitter Foreman for industrial projects in the Curtis Bay, MD area. The pay is up to $45 per hour based on experience. As a Pipefitter, you will be responsible for material take offs and the assembly of piping systems in the field to produce high-quality products. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment that values precision and craftsmanship.

Ultimate Job Duties:

• Experience leading a crew (or crews) of pipe fitters and welders (at least 3-5 craft workers) on piping projects in an industrial setting.
• Experience planning piping projects to include: Equipment installation, pipe support locations and installation, pipe routing, tie-in connections and shut down requirements.
• Ability to interpret plan view and elevation view drawings to understand the project.
• Understand P&ID (Process and Instrument Diagrams) and can coordinate installation of valves and instruments as shown on the drawings.
• Ability to field route piping where appropriate and required by the client.
• Working with welded, threaded, Victaulic piping, carbon, and stainless steel.
• Supports the supervisor and General Manager with the development and execution of work plans to complete a job.
• Ensures all work is completed in accordance with job specifications (blueprints, engineer consulting, etc.), inspecting when necessary and or as deemed by the supervisor or president.
• Ensures a safe work environment prior to and during all work operations, and ensures that all work is done in accordance with company's safety manual and customer policies.
• Provides liaison and continuity between company and its customers.
• Ensures that the job area and all equipment is clean and safe at all times.
• Provides continuity between supervisor and all personnel in foreman's crew.
• Maintains a daily log of all work and personnel activity.
• Participates in company training and assists when called upon.
• Maintains a safety conscious focus at all times.
• Strives to further skills.

Pipefitter Foreman Requirements:

• 5+ years previous experience in pipe fitting, preferably in an industrial environment.
• Familiarity with ASME codes & standards.
• Familiarity with SMAW, GTAW and FCAW welding processes.
• OSHA 10 certification (OSHA 30 a plus).
• Reliable transportation with active driver's license.
• US Citizen and/or Green Card Verified.
• Flexibility to travel in the Baltimore Metro Area (Aberdeen, MD to Washington, DC).
• Drug Test Required.
