The hourly rate for this position is $36.02 per hour. The hours for this shift are; 3:30 pm - 12:00 am.Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. What you'll do:The Fuel and Motion Control Systems Division of Eaton's Aerospace Group has an opening for a Pipefitter. This position is based in Euclid, OH. The Euclid facility has approximately 300 employees and is a leader in the design, development, manufacture and delivery of Aerospace Fuel Pumping components, systems and services to the global aftermarket and OEM markets.Job Summary:• Learn, adhere to and stay current with all Eaton Safety Practices.• Perform diversified installation and repairs of piping and plumbing throughout the manufacturing facility, labs, test areas and offices.• Assistance may be given to other operators on proper operational procedures.Job Responsibilities:• Equipment includes machines, filters, piping systems, accumulators, pumps, test stands, and devices for the operation of the plant (air compressors, water towers, boilers, etc.).• Install, repair, and maintain high and low pressure lines, valves, fittings, and gages to transmit and provide for the regulation or disposal of steam, air, hydraulic, oil, gases, coolant, water, sewage, acids and other liquids.• Hook up various units such as furnaces, tanks, heaters, and other equipment involving utilities service.• Install and maintain all plumbing fixtures and equipment requiring the use of gas, water, compressed air, steam, jet fuel etc.• Fashion and apply various insulating materials to all necessary pipes, tanks, ducts, stacks, boilers, and other surfaces by using strips, sheets, tubes, compounds, bulk materials and accessories.• Utilize accepted practices for wrapping, forming, blending, stuffing or erecting insulation. • Remove and dispose of Non-Asbestos insulation materials according to approved methods.• Work in conjunction with other trades to assist physically in performing total repair operation.• Work from varying degrees of prints and schematics to determine work requirements.• Collaborate with other codes at supervisor directive. Additional Qualifications/ResponsibilitiesQualifications:Basic Qualifications:• High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution. • Must reside within a 50-mile radius of work location; no relocation benefit is provided. • This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.• Minimum five (5) full years in Industrial pipefitting experience. Official documentation from past employer (company) detailing work scope must be provided.Position Criteria:• Perform 5S and other duties as assigned.• Must obtain a fork truck driving certificate within 30 days.• Perform diversified installation and repairs of piping and plumbing.• Have worked on high pressure steam, hydraulic lines and valves.• Be able to hook up and install all plumbing fixtures requiring the use of gas, water, oil and steam.• Must be able to climb ladders and have familiarity with Scissor Lifts and Articulating Booms.• Must have applicable pipefitter tools.• Be able to perform work from layouts and engineering drawings.
