Pipe Puller - APS : Job Details

Automation Personnel Services is looking for Pipe Pullers for a company based in Houston, Texas. In this role, you will have the opportunity to advance your career while being a key part of a dynamic team in a fast-growing, woman-owned manufacturer of pipe manufacturing and fabrication company.

Pay Rate $16.00/$18.00 per hour

Schedule and Hours Monday through Saturday, 7:00am to 7pm

40+ hours a week, sometimes over 60 hours per week.

• Operated overhead crane machinery to lift and transport products, supporting continuous production flow.
• Inspected molds, tools, and equipment regularly to detect and address potential issues.
• Prepared and set up molds, promptly reporting mechanical or setup concerns to the supervisor.
• Reviewed machine displays to identify correct stencil and barcode data for each pipe.
• Verified work order detailsincluding physical files and entries in the GURUSOFT system before initiating tasks.
• Maintained a clean, organized, and safe workstation in compliance with operational standards.
• Identified and escalated equipment malfunctions and quality defects to supervisory personnel.
• Recorded and updated pipe specifications accurately within pipe files and the GURUSOFT system.

• 13 years of hands-on experience in manufacturing or industrial operations.
• Strong grasp of industry practices, compliance standards, and safety protocols.
• Effective communicator across teams and management levels.
• Exceptional attention to detail with solid organizational capabilities.
• Basic proficiency in enterprise systems including SAP and GURUSOFT.
• Bilingual or fluent in a second language is a valuable asset.
