• Assemble, install, and repair underground pipes, fittings, and valves.
• Set up and use pipe lasers and transits to position pipe.
• Backfill around the pipe using hand tools.
• Test pipes for leakage.
• Measure and cut pipes.

Details:

• Responsible for helping prepare the land for new builds, and laying storm drains, water pipes, and sewers.
• Duties Include raking, shoveling, and grading the dirt, laying storm drains, building retention ponds, digging trenches, and more.
• Must have experience setting grade/slope using lasers and levels and estimating the percentage of falls.
• Growth opportunity: learn how to lay storm drains from the best quickly and safely, how to use Heavy Equipment, how to shoot grades, and read a blueprint.
