ResponsibilitiesBrasfield & Gorrie is currently accepting applications for a Pipe Layer Helper. Below are the main responsibilities for this position.(This description may not include all duties required of this position)* Assist in laying ductile pipe for storm or sanitation sewers, drains, and water mains* Assist in perform any combination of the following tasks: grade trenches or culverts, position pipe, or seal joints* Position required frequently lifting up to 75 lbs* Position requires physical labor tasks such as shovel work and trench digging as involved with assistance of commercial construction pipe laying* Must adhere to safety protocol, and work in a drug-free environment.Education - Skills - Knowledge - Qualifications & Experience* 1 years Commercial Construction Pipe Laying Helper experience preferred* Experience in assisting with underground ductile iron piping required* Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs* Must be able to stoop, bend, and stand for extended periodsEOE/Vets/Disabilities
