Purpose of Position
The Pilot provides a superior and safe air transportation experience, representing NetJets with professionalism and ensuring safety on every flight.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Operate aircraft safely from taxi to landing, following FAA guidelines, OEM checklists, and company procedures. Greet Owners/passengers, brief them, and verify itineraries, weather, and safety information.
- Provide in-flight service, including handling alcohol and catering as needed.
- Load and stow baggage properly.
- Handle flights for Owners with pets and smokers.
- Act as the final authority on aircraft operations, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Coordinate with Owners/passengers from arrival at the FBO until departure.
- Report maintenance issues to the Maintenance Control Center and complete related paperwork.
- Perform other duties as assigned, depending on the specific role.
Education
High School diploma or equivalent required.
Certifications and Licenses
FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) or First Class Medical Certificate required.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other (KSAOs)
- FAA ATP, Restricted ATP, or meet ATP requirements with multi-engine rating (per 61.160).
- At least 21 years old, with 1,500 flight hours or 1,250 with a university R-ATP, or 1,000 hours with military qualification or university R-ATP.
- 200 hours cross-country (>50 nm).
- 250 hours PIC, 100 hours night flying (or 75 with ≥45 night takeoffs/landings), 75 hours instrument time.
- ATP written exam completed before training.
- 50 hours multi-engine time.
- Current FAA First-Class Medical.
- FCC Restricted Radio Operator's Permit.
- Valid passport, ability to travel internationally without restrictions.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
- Flexible working hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to manage rest periods and handle long duty days across time zones and weather conditions.
- Ability to secure airport security badges and pass TSA background checks.
- Valid driver's license, proficiency in English, excellent communication skills, neat appearance, and passenger interaction skills.
- Physical ability to exert force as needed and handle animals.
Base Salary Range
$69,932 - $95,696
