Picker/Packer
Location: Middletown, CT
Pay Rate: $17-$20/hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday | Full-Time | 1st or 2nd Shift (based on business needs)
Position Summary:
We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Picker/Packer to support daily warehouse operations. This role involves accurately picking products from inventory, packing them for shipment, and ensuring all outgoing orders meet quality and accuracy standards. It's a key position in maintaining smooth order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Pick items from shelves based on order specifications
Carefully pack products for shipping using appropriate materials
Label packages and prepare them for shipment
Perform visual inspections to ensure products meet quality standards
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Assist with restocking shelves and inventory rotation as needed
Use handheld scanners or basic systems to log orders and track inventory
Follow all safety procedures and company policies
Skills & Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Prior warehouse, order fulfillment, or packing experience a plus
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to stand, walk, lift, and bend for extended periods
Able to lift up to 40-50 lbs as needed
Good communication and basic computer or scanner use skills
Team-oriented with a positive attitude
Work Environment:
This is a fast-paced warehouse environment where reliability and accuracy are critical. Training will be provided, but prior warehouse experience is helpful.
Pay Details: $17.00 to $20.00 per hour
