Picker And Packer - Aerotek : Job Details

The Kit Packer is responsible for packaging and releasing kits. This role involves working directly from work orders, utilizing a scanner to verify items, and pushing a cart around the facility to pick and box items as per the work orders. Responsibilities include setting up kits, inspecting finished products, printing labels, labeling and capping products, breaking down expired kits, participating in annual cycle counts, and documenting work on spreadsheets.

Responsibilities:

• Work from work orders to pick and box items.
• Use a scanner to verify pulled items.
• Set up kits and inspect finished products.
• Print and apply labels to products.
• Label and cap products as necessary.
• Break down expired kits.
• Participate in annual cycle counts.
• Document work on spreadsheets and use a computer to check inventory levels.

Essential Skills:

• 1+ year of order selection/inventory experience.
• Experience with mobile RF scanning equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate part counting.
• Ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal form.
• Proficiency in documenting finished work.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience in pick, pack, material handling, medical kitting, and inspection of finished goods.
• Skills in labeling, cycle counting, inventory, assembly, production, and use of hand tools.

Work Environment:

The work environment is clean, well-lit, and maintains comfortable temperatures. Some products are stored in freezers, but gloves are provided for handling cold items. The facility resembles a college campus with large break rooms, ping pong areas, and workout rooms. The shift operates from 10am to 6:30pm.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
