Picker And Packer - Massachusetts Staffing : Job Details

The successful candidate will be responsible for picking and packing screws for clients. While most products are lightweight, some may weigh up to 45lbs. Candidates will need to stand for extended periods while preparing products for shipment, sealing packages, and labeling them correctly.

Responsibilities include:

• Pick and pack screws efficiently and accurately.
• Prepare products for shipment, ensuring proper sealing and labeling of packages.
• Use RF scan guns to track products and inventory.
• Follow pick sheets to determine product quantity and location.
• Maintain a high level of engagement and consistency in work.

Essential skills include:

• Experience with inventory management.
• Proficiency in using RF scan guns.
• Ability to follow pick sheets and order picking processes.
• Strong packaging and labeling skills.

Additional skills and qualifications:

• Basic computer skills for data entry.

This position is located in a warehouse setting filled with racks and bins that store screws, fasteners, washers, and bolts used in the manufacturing industry. The environment encourages a calm and focused atmosphere with each person having their own workspace.

This is a contract position based out of Agawam, Massachusetts.

Pay and benefits:

The pay range for this position is $17.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
