Pick and Pack $21 / hour - Express Employment : Job Details

Located in Thief River Falls, MNEssential Job Functions: Everyone starting will be trained in for Pick and PackPicking:

• Responsible for putting the product into storage locations and retrieving the product for customer orders to ensure customer satisfaction and the highest quality standards.
• Pick parts in an assigned zone, quickly and accurately to fulfil customer's order requests.
• Identify the part's date code or lot code and mark on the picking label if the customer requests the date/lot code information.
• Perform inventory counts and update computer system to show correct quantity on hand.
• Remove the product from totes and put it into the correct storage location.
• Pre-package product for bin stock.

Packing:

• Responsible for assembling and packaging orders in a manner that meets quality and customer standards.
• Check the customer's order by verifying that the picking label is attached to the correct parts and quantities and then use the barcode label scanner to scan each picking label to ensure the quantity and part number matches the on-line sales order.
• Review any special packaging instructions before packing the order.
• Assemble the box and package the order for shipment using appropriate packing material.
• Attach appropriate tracking labels.
• Identify and route orders to the Barcode/Exceptions Representative if special barcode or date/lot code requirements exist.
• Print duplicate pack lists to be attached to the outside of the package, if the customer requests this service
• Pre-package product for bin stock. (For instance, a case of 5,000 capacitors would be counted and packaged into smaller quantities like 10-piece, 50 pieces, or 100-piece bags)

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to perform repetitive hand, wrist, and arm motion.
• Able to twist or bend and occasionally climb stairs.
• Ability to reach with hands and arms above shoulder level.
• Capable of spending 8-10 hours walking/standing on concrete.
• Regularly lift to 35 lbs. and occasionally lift to 50 lbs. from floor to shoulder height and spend the workday performing repetitive motions that involve or affect the hands, head, and other parts of your body.
